Samburu National Park is situated in the semi-arid region of Northern Kenya, along the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River and is famous for its distinct wildlife species such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and the gerenuk.The park is also popular for photography safaris due to its unique wildlife and picturesque landscapes and home to a number of traditional Samburu villages, where visitors can learn about the culture of this indigenous people.
